September theme: Without a Villain there is not story

This spring, we invite students to join in
with the timeless tradition of letter writing. In a
world of quick messages and fleeting
communication, letters offer the opportunity to
slow down, reflect and truly connect through
words. Writing letters strengthens more than just
communication skills. It also nurtures thoughtful
expression, creativity and empathy. As students
learn to organize their ideas, choose precise
language and consider their audience, they develop
skills that directly enhance their reading
comprehension. The act of writing encourages
students to think like readers by paying attention
to tone, structure and meaning. Reading, in turn,
inspires stronger and more purposeful writing.
“Dearest Reader” is more than just a theme. It is
an invitation to discover the power of words, one
letter at a time.
