Welcome to the Barron Collier High School Media Center!
The BCHS Media Center is designed to accommodate all learners, providing spaces for quiet reading and studying, student collaboration, computer work, club meetings, STEM maker spaces and so much more! We offer a wealth of resources in both print and electronic formats. Additionally, our online databases provide authentic, accurate, and authoritative information accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

- Monday - Friday: 7:00am - 2:45pm
- Open at lunch - no food allowed.
- Students MUST have a signed pass to visit during class time.

October invites us into a world where mysteries
unfold, legends come alive, and stories reveal what
lies beneath the surface. The Season of Shadows
and Stories theme encourages students to explore
books that challenge their thinking, spark
imagination and uncover new perspectives. While
shadows can represent suspense, secrets, and the
unknown, stories help illuminate ideas,
experiences, and truths that shape our
understanding of ourselves and the world around
us. This theme embraces both the excitement of
October and the power of literacy, encouraging
students to become readers, researchers, creators,
and critical thinkers.

Read a good book lately? Tell us about it! Fill out a simple Book Review at the Circulation Desk and get a piece of candy! You can complete as many book reviews as you want! You can read the other book reviews by your peers as well! Ask Ms. Sanders or Miss Tatiana for more information!
